Crossroads Colts Athletics

Mission Statement:
The philosophy of athletics at Crossroads Christian School is to train
student athletes in the essentials of Christ-likeness as related to athletic
competition with special emphasis on developing a humble spirit, a positive attitude,
and a fit body, all of which reveal and glorify Christ within us.

Girls' Volleyball: Starts August 2, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the gym. No Wednesdays for volleyball. Coach Hayes

Co-Ed Cross-Country: Starts August 16, 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. Coach Carswell

JV Girls - #1 in Conference Tournament
JV Girls Win Tourney 2010

Story: JV Girls won against Wayne Christian School of Goldsboro Friday in the final round of the tournament hosted at Trinity School of Durham & Chapel Hill, making the CCS Colts the champions for the 2nd year in a row. Coached by Mrs. Tracy Anderson (assisted by John Anderson), the team was missing one starter (Jessica Matthews), but they kept the lead throughout the game. With three minutes to go, WCS shortened the lead to 4 points, but the Colts had another surge of teamwork and pulled ahead to win by 16. WCS had a bench of 7 players (our team size), but could not match our JV Girls!

Athletic Fees

Athletic fees are due for each student playing a sport at CCS as follows:

$50 1st sport
$25 Per each additional sport

If your child doesn't have a sports physical on file for the current school year, download this form and check with your physician ASAP.
