Class of 2008
Chris Hughes
I thought the attached letter from ASU might be an encouragement to CCS and the faculty. Chris has adapted well to college and we appreciate Crossroads for having a part in preparing him to succeed! Thanks so much! -- Cindy Hughes
Brian Whalen
Brian is doing great at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. He received a 4.0 this past semester and is taking a course load of 15 credit hours. This has earned him a $2,000 scholarship for this current semester. He is constantly singing the praises of former CCS teachers Dr. Disseau and Mr. Jones for helping him with this first year of college. Brian is using his musical skills at a local church where he leads worship for a weekly Bible study and he is using his social skills wherever he goes! Thanks,
Vicki Whalen
Chris Choplin
Chris decided four more years wasn't for him, so he signed on for Heating & Air at Vance-Granville Community College. He made the Dean's List for the fall, and is working hard this semester. He plans on getting an internship this summer in Henderson and hopes to be working as an apprentice by fall. And...the mullet is gone!
